On the day that her debut album charted straight in at number two, the excitement of Marina and the Diamonds was understandably infectious as she took to the stage, playing at The Cooler to a possibly more intimate crowd than used to since she catapulted to fame.

Fenech-Soler may not be the easiest name to slip into conversation but you better practice your pronunciation as it seems these electro-pop kids are set for big things. The Northants four-piece mix heavy bass, synth-led chorus lines and soft, sweet vocals, and sound like Cut Copy in Shoreditch on a sunny afternoon.
